GHL is the formal CFMS term for what used to be termed “VP Global Health”. GHLs are student leaders elected at each CFMS member school that sit on their medical student society as the main lead of global health work and the contact person on the medical student society with the CFMS’ Global Health Program.
GHLs are required to attend all Global Health Roundtables (GHRTs) to engage in discussion on national project planning, reporting local events/initiatives, learn about new opportunities to disseminate and share with their student body.
